Australia Post is working to reinstate deliveries in areas impacted by bushfires, smoke haze, and extreme weather.

Severe dust storms and high winds in the ACT and NSW have forced us to suspend the delivery of letters and small parcels by our posties to areas around Wodonga, Mitchell, Canberra South, Tuggeranong, and Goulburn but at this stage deliveries of larger parcels by van drivers will continue.

Bushfires and subsequent road closures and access issues in the NSW south coast will result in some delivery delays in Bermagui, Nowra, Bateman’s Bay, Bega, and Moruya. In addition, Post Offices in Bodalla, Adaminaby, Broulee and Malua Bay have closed until further notice.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will resume normal operations as soon as it is safe to do so.
