With over fifty short fiction titles published in the last two years, David’s work has appeared in dozens of magazines and anthologies, including; “The Sirens Call”, “Massacre Magazine”, “Shadows of Salem”, “Hidden in Plain Sight”, “Dark Monsters”, “Gathering Storm Magazine”, “Monsters Among Us”, “After the Happily Ever After”, and “Dead of Winter”.
He was also the managing editor for Storyteller Magazine for eight months until it closed its doors in late 2017.
David was born and raised in the greater Cincinnati area. The oldest of three, he protected his younger brother and sister from neighborhood bullies and the monsters under their beds. A nationally certified soccer coach and an accomplished musician, David regularly plays Cincinnati area gigs with his band.
He won 2015 Story of the Year from FictionMagazines.com for his piece “Mr. Garret’s Interview”.
His novel, “The Walking Man” was a regional best seller rising to number eleven behind Danielle Steele’s “Lightning” and Stephen King’s “Green Mile”.
